It fits, a 3SGE ex manifold and downpipe fits and there is alot more room around the oil filter now, your going to have to cut the pipe after it turns to go under the motor and put a flexpipe just after the rear crossmember

Basketweaves? Or the V6 LE aluminums? Ooh, the anticipation!

Yeah, it's odd how these things are showing up in obscure places...my current hometown has only 110,000 inmates or so, yet there are two 5-speed gen2's (one of which has basketweaves) in my scrap yard. I'm guessing Lehi is a similarly small-ish town?

It runs, it sounds like a fart pipe on a honda from idle till about 2k, then its silent, I put 2 inch pipes and a super supreme regular muffler and no cat or resonator with a flex at the rear crossmember by the motor, its an auto but it pops off the line better than my other auto by far but I will know more when I can go drive it after I register it next week, then I can set timing and test out my new brakes better
You are probably going to want to put an extra resonator on it to get rid of the 'Honda' sound... A small or medium size high-flow cat would do the same thing and keep the exhaust from smelling too bad. A header with just a single standard muffler probably won't sound good. Nice to see somebody still experimenting though.

Its kinda quick, it winds up real easy i just wish it made that power off idle, it is just as fast as a non vtec civic and lots faster than my 5 speed car, it needs struts bad it floats like an old caddy and has a big reaction when it shifts
I would love to see pics of the manifold + know what model/year car you got it off of... My converter is smelling bad on anything past half throttle and i cant see putting a $200+ converter on the car. Thanks very much!!
