My drivers side window moves way too much left and right and while rolling it up it actually moves out of the track leaving about an inch of a gap in the corner. I took the whole door apart trying to adjust everything as well as the window rubber but to no avail. Has anyone else ever had this problem and how did you fix it?
Checked those too. Actually took the window out to check everything and put it back in. The window rolls down just fine but when rolling it up I have to roll up a few inches and physically pull the window back towards the rear of the car and then repeat until the window is up. Otherwise The window goes up but is completely out of the door frame!
It's kind of a pain but you could remove the door panel, pull the master switch out and plug the switch directly into the harness with the panel removed. Watch the mechanism while you're rolling the window down (with the panel off) and see just what is "giving". With luck it will be "obvious".

It looks like everything is good. It seems as though the problem may be with the window rubber. The dealer wants 300.00 for a new one though. Anyone have a used one they want to get rid of?
Cmon, that's what junkyards are for!
A young gal like you must love to crawl through junkyards in Oklahoma looking for parts, making those junkyard dogs swoon!
Oklahoma is flooded right now. There's no way I'm going to the junk yard! It's actually probably closed because of flooding. And yes I do frequent the yards. Been in a few fights there too because of some of the men that thought they could take advantage of a 5'3 woman all alone in the junk yard. They were wrong.
So my window fuckered up even more last night and the little nylon wheel popped off the regulator so since it stopped raining and the twisters moved on I was able to get to the junkyard to get a regulator and the window rubber. The only traumatic thing that happened during my latest junkyard visit was an extremely large man walked up about four feet from me and peed on the side of the car I was pulling it from. People are so gross. At least go to a car that no one is working on! Oh well... my window works now.
Glad to hear you got it fixed (do you think it was the regulator or the gasket?). Sorry that you seem to attract the low lifes of the junk yards. I can't imagine behavior like that.

In this picture I've marked a red circle around the part that broke. It's a little nylon wheel inside the track there that popped out and there's no way to put it back in. The track was also bent.
