2nd Generation Electrical Short?

So I think my 87 2G has an electrical short somewhere. On my dash about 3 days ago my battery, brake, and tail lights came on at the same time and stay lit all the time. Whatever is making the problem, my battery is slowly draining. The symptoms seem like and electrical short somewhere in the dash (I installed speakers and a kenwood head unit a week and a half ago). I don't know if I may have knocked a wire loose or bundle or something else? Anyone out there have any ideas. I would really appreciate that.
Thanks
Jay

You just need a new/rebuilt alternator. Those three warning lights on at once means your charging system isn't working.

^+1. You can check the charging system yourself (I don't recommend driving this car too far right now) if you have a digital volt/ohmeter. Just start the car and set the meter to 20 volts DC. Now touch the 2 probes to the 2 battery terminals. Chances are you will find the reading on the meter to be just under 12 volts. That means the alternator is not recharging the battery. The reading should be around 14-1/2 volts. Your car will eventually not restart or it will simply die while you are driving it, as the voltage in the battery becomes too low to fire the spark plugs.
