1st & 2nd Generation (1983–1986 & 1987-1991)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1983-1986 & 1987-1991.
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
That's just not fair...why must Vermont be so far away?!?
As for this "black on grey" colour scheme, wtf? I honestly didn't even know that combination was ever marketed on the gen2. IMHO it's the second best scheme out there (I like my silver-on-grey just slightly better)...
Oh yeah, and that's a pretty ghetto rockerguard job. They didn't even protect the rocker trim from overspray.

Yeah, I thought that somebody had finally found a better Alltrac than mine until I saw that...
Seriously though, that's a nice Camry. I wouldn't be able to drive it though since the sunroof eats into the headroom too much, even with the seat adjusted all the way down.
Hopefully it goes to a good home.

It's funny you say that. Two of my friends are over 6' tall and the only reason the fit in my car is because of the sunroof. With the interior screen retracted there's an extra inch of head room!

Actually, that sticker is located ON the door...driver's door. Unless some twit painted over it, as they sometimes do. On 87 models, there's no sticker but a steel-stamped plate that's riveted to the pillar between the front & rear driver's doors at the bottom.

Looks like a V6 gauge cluster...is that original??
I haven't seen an all-trac camry in person
That's the same cluster (as far as I can tell) as in my stock '89 Alltrac auto... They all have a tach, and the autos have a trans temp warning light near the top of the tach.

I don't know why they're all coming out of the woodwork just now, but I'm seeing more low-mileage gen2's than I have in several years...both on eBay and on the road. We just got an 87 LE at work today with only 114,000km on it (for you metric-impaired, that's 75K miles). Unreal.
