Exclamation Umm... BooBoo?

Today I pulled off the throttle body to clean it up which it really needed. I was cleaning it up with some carb cleaner with one of those red straws that comes with the can. And just my luck the straw shoots off into the intake manifold, I tried looking into the manifold with many flashlights and couldn't see it but I'm 90% positive it went in there. Put it all back together and it runs fine, so I took it out for supper and to pick up my sister.

On the trip to feed me it ran fine. On the way to get my sister about 4 miles from my house it coughed/slightly missed twice, it didn't kill the motor or the acceleration but I felt it. It ran fine after that. Could the straw thing of gotten sucked in and then out the exhaust and thats what I felt? BTW, There is no check engine lights on.

Yup, it's probably a small plastic puddle of melted-then-cooled plastic in your intake. Something that big likely wouldn't have fit through the intake valve anyhow, it would just restrict airflow somewhat...

Get one of those little telescopic mirrors and look in there again.

If it's still in the intake plenum, try a shop vac duct taped to the throttle body, or directly to the intake plenum (assuming the throttle body has been removed). After a minute or 2 check the contents of the shop vac for the straw.
