Gen 1 wheels

A forum search didn't turn up much about Gen 1 wheels. Tirerack has several choices in 15" with 195/15 tires recommended. Offsets on most of them are 35 mm, but the one I like the best has a 38 mm offset. Will that fit correctly? They also list some 14" wheels and recommend 185/70's on those. Any reason not to go to the 15" wheels? The stock wheels are 13".

Are the wheels tirerack sells that are made in China any good?

Going from 13's up to 15's is going to make a slow car even slower. I wouldn't go any bigger than 14's. You may not have too much trouble with 15's so long as you don't pick really heavy wheels. I plan on picking up a set of 14" 2G wheels from the junk yard for mine

I'm looking at 195/60-14's or 195/55-15's. Both have the same revs per mile as the OEM 185/70-13's.
