fuel problems

91 camery all track 2.0.
Quit running thought the fuel pump was out replaced it. No fuel to filter replaced fuel relay 15 amp fuse is OK.
No power to fuel pump testing wires in trunk.
Car will start and run with starter fuel.
I don't know much abut fuel injection or efi.
Give me a carburator any day.
I am now wondering about the main engine relay.
I have a Haynes book that shows a wire from the check connector box that ties in with a wire from the relay that goes to the fuel pump. I don't know wat the check connector is.
I have search the forums and can't find the answer.

From what you are telling us I am uncertain just what you have tested and how you tested the items.

Run a search for "test fuel pump" (without the quotation marks). You will get tons of information on how to test your fuel system.

the mass air meter has a switch in it where it closes and turns the pump on when the door moves off its stop caused by the motor pulling intake air through it
