Seafoam is extremely effective for two reasons: one, it's almost pure petroleum, so its properties as a solvent (ie its ability to break-down deposits of virtually any kind) are almost unmatched; two, its very lack of detergent base means that it's less abrasive on many components in your fuel system and crankcase.

Run a search in ANY TN forum for Seafoam and you'll see testimonials.

2nd Generation

Thanks for the info everyone. I tried seafoam for the first time and man... I wish I would have known about it sooner. The throttle response is amazing! My steering wheel doesn't vibrate the whole car on idle anymore and my 0-60 is shaved by about 3.5 seconds! I had been using lucas but I think I'll switch.

Note my complete lack of surprise... I don't usually stoop to doing product testimonials but Seafoam is one of the few wonder products out there.
