2nd Generation Blown Tranny, Shell for sale

So I have a 87 2g with 190K. Yesterday I was driving and my transmission blew up on me. However, this car would make an excellent candidate for a motor swap. I have gotten rid of almost all of the rust, the interior is in good shape (front seats have some tears but I have covers on them. The car has never been in an accident. The only problem is that it was abused before I got it and I didn't realize the tranny was in such bad shape until a few months ago. I tried to nurse it as best as I could but it finally gave out.

So here is the deal. The car is in Delaware Ohio right now. like I said, it is an 87 2g DLX. Body is in really good shape. The car would make a great project. I also have a short throw shifter, intrax springs with KYB struts, Kuhmo KR21 tires with less than 5K on them, and a first gen mr2 wing on the back. There is a kenwood head unit with Pioneer speakers, and K&N ram air intake. I was going to just pull what I could off of it and salvage it from there. However, if anyone is interested in coming to get it (obviously doesn't drive) then make me an offer and I will leave all the after-market stuff on it. I loved this car and I hate to see it go but I just can't fix it right now. However, I would much rather see it go for next to nothing to someone who may be able to get it on the road again some day than to a salvage yard to get junked for scraps.

Like I said, if anyone is interested let me know. My email is parker.jayt@gmail.com. Thanks

That's a shame, I'm sorry to hear about your hard luck. Let's hope you find a buyer. M/T gen2's are getting less common with every passing day.
