2nd Generation Does not like to start at the morning!

The battery is new and charged. My car does not like to start at the morning. It makes normal sound, but it takes at least 2-3 times tries. Could you advice what could be the problem?

There is a cold start injector on your intake plenum, and it is actuated by a cold start timing switch on the inlet for the coolant intake to the block.

If either of these components malfunction, the car will take extra tries to start.

Exactly. My cold-start injector time switch broke and had these same symptoms. It is the brown sensor on the coolant outlet neck of the motor (where the upper radiator hose meets the engine). On my car, it was right on the front and easy to replace. Luckily I had an extra one from an old motor, they are kinda expensive. If you can, grab one or two from a junkyard to save money.

I have to agree that the most likely suspect is the cold start time switch. You can check it on a cold engine with a digital volt/ohmeter and the specs from any manual. You will be checking it's resistance. Close to spec isn't good enough; it must be within spec. Like someone mentioned, it's kind of an expensive part at the dealer; somewhere around $100. If it checks out out of range and you can find one or two at a salvage yard, that would be a posssible way to go to save some money.
