2nd Generation Turbo Question

So I've been planning to turbo my camry. I know, I know upgrade to 3sgte blah blah blah. I've heard of one person install a turbo on a 3sfe, so i just had some questions.

So if i were to get a ct26 turbo, 3sgte headers, wastegate, oilfeed, etc etc
I'm not planning on great increased hp maybe 30-50. Figured camry wouldn't hold together to well if it goes over 300hp whatever

A. Would i need to get a tuner for it? since it would be kind of low psi
B. Intercooler necessary for that low psi? I mean it'd look cool to have one but gives away the sleeper look.
C. Do i need to change any of my pulleys and/or flywheel?

After all this I'm still contemplating on just selling the cam and buying a faster car, but I'd miss my cam for sure

Holy crap, that's a lot of work to do just to sell it. You would never recoop either your time or your money. Unless you have a solid buyer before you start modding, foh-gedda-bouddit.

Just save 5K or 6K and buy a GT-Four.

i'd def. get a GT-Four.

plus any intercooler would help boost create more power by dropping the IAT's, but it has to be the proper size/boost ratio. maybe a sidemount would benefit you if you dont plan on turning up the boost.

Its not to hard to turbo a 3s-fe (I'm one of the guys who has done it)...

3s-gte exhaust manifold
3s-gte turbo + oil/water lines (you will need to customize the oil feed line a bit)
3s-gte oil pan
3s-gte downpipe (stock or aftermarket)
custom exhaust
custom intake (though the 3s-fe intake hose might fit over the CT26 inlet...)
custom pipes from turbo to intercooler (with or without intercooler)
FMU (external fuel pressure regulator or RRFPR)

If you keep it to the stock 3s-gte wastegate boost (7psi), that should be all you need. An SAFC or similar would get you extra power/safety.

Keep in mind though, you would be loosing all the reliability you have. You will be under the hood almost every day tinkering with something. Keep that in mind. All for making it about as fast as a gen2 V6 manual Camry...
