uneven wearing out tires.

2nd gen camry 4 cylinder.

it's left front tire's outer side gets worn out quiet excessively. but i don't notice anything weird while driving.

any thoughts on what could be wrong?

Bad alignment I would think, I got mine done at Goodyear and im GLUED to the road nowand the tires wear evenly now too.

I have to agree it's an alignment issue. That tire seems to be towed inward. A good alignment shop will know what to do to check it and correct the issue. The only other possible cause could be bent suspension components. Get the alignment checked.

After the problem gets taken care of put that tire on the back to save it.unless its completly trashed that is.

You have a camber issue, You must have hit something like a curb and forced it out of alignment. Unless you recently had any strut or brake work done and they didnt do an alignment aferwards.

Just get a front alignment done and u should be golden

Might just have worn suspension components (i.e. bushings).

If it keeps getting thrown out of alignment, start replacing things. My GEN1 is like eating tires like cup cakes. AS to why I am not fixing it...well....I need to replace a bunch of stuff in the front (CV axles, bushings, struts, lower ball joint, tie arms...)
