I just put a radio + a 6-disc changer in my 90 Camry, piece of cake, although the Radio was a Toyota Radio with the same plugs.
I already have a Toyota Radio built in. I was looking on eBay and a guy was selling a lot of Sony car CD players and included wiring for toyota's. So I don't think I would need to do cutting and stripping...
it was simple. you can do it the way mentioned above. like me.. took me about 45 minutes. or else there are harnesses out there. but then you get a whack load of cables that are so so long. I just put in a sony bluetooth HU

Unless it has an adapter? That connects the Toyota Harness to the Radio, then your going to have to cut.
Normally radios have all kinds of harnesses (plugs) of which they use, and you cut the car radio wires and wire them into the corresponding wires on the cut section of the harness that will fit into the radio.
Ill take a video of me removing the entertainment center/center piece if you want.
Its simple, 2 screws at the top of the plastic molding, pull from the middle to pop the 2 clips out of the center, and pull near the car charger /ashtray to pop the last 2 clips out, and move the trim out of the way, the radio should be held in with 4 screws, and you pull that out.
I'll take some pictures tomorrow. And I was actually thinking about installing the Sony CD player with bluetooth and AUX in. In California it is required to use hands free, and I don't have a BT headset yet so I guess that would be good to have BT. Also, the stock speakers are still installed. They don't sound too bad actually, but I'll probably replace them eventually.
I had a bumpin 4-12s system set up in da trunk till I took it back out to try and lighten up and save on gas. Sterio install was the real simple part. Getting enough voltage to the trunk for the amplifiers was the hard part
LOL why the heck would you want 4x12" subs in the back? My cousin has a single 10" and it gets hella loud if you turn it up. Way louder than I would ever want.

I just bought a JDM Stereo and i have 2 12"s on the way.
Whats the point in that much bass? 1x10" with a good amp is enough to make you go deaf already...
I want a single 10 or 12" sub though, whats the cheapest you can get? I was thinking I'd just throw in a computer speaker set in the trunk, then use a power inverter that way its much cheaper than buying a car speaker sub.
What CD player would you guys recommend. I'll be buying it on eBay. I'm still a little confused as to what all I'll need to install it. Wires, CD player, mounting brackets???

I have a 10 and use it in my living room TV and believe me it doesnt make you go def.
I have 2 yamaha speakers in my room in boxes, with 8" subs, horns, and tweeters all in two boxes and they pump some good bass, so you could buy similar speakers and run them to the back and to the radio.
Seems like a good deal at only $50. But then I'd need an amp, and have no clue how to hook things up. I have done other mods and soldering, cutting wires etc, to other electronic devices so I have a basic understanding of how to do things, but never done anything in a car.
I just want like a cheap 100w amp. And how does that hook up to the cd player and stuff? Does every cd player have wiring for a sub?
The set im buying cost 150, so 50 for 2 10"s aint bad at all. Just remember that your going to need an amplifier for the sub and your going to have to run wires on both sides of the car from the battery to the amp to the radio.
You run a thick guage wire from the battery to the amp, and you run wires for the amp to power on and send audio signals to the amp to the back of the radio on the other side of the car. Then you wire the amp to the sub and insert the fuse under the hood.
