New Radiator

Hey guys and gals I have a 88 Camry Le V6, and I am going to need a new radiator very soon... Just out of curiosity where would be the best place for quality and price to purchase one? I found one link and i'm kind of skeptical about getting it because it doesn't say direct replacement part.... Also any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Suggest you buy local even if paying a little more! Call around for prices should not be too bad. Any local part store should be able get a radiator, make sure you tell if auto or manual trans.

The issue with mail order is the radiator is often shipped in the original packaging from the manufacturer that was shipped bulk to the reseller, This often not adequate for reshipping by USP or FedEx! The result a leaking radiator that now needs to be repackaged and sent back.

If purchased local and leaking you can just take it back and exchange, assuming there is a problem. This also goes for being given the wrong radiator.

This based on experience, as such now buy local unless not available.
