Canada cooling fan hose

Good day. 290,000k and my '92 camry V6 decides to start calving, one part at a time. The latest is the cooling fan hydraulic motor hose from the PS pump to the fan hyd. motor. Toyota wants $400 for the hose and no aftermarket shops seem to list it. It looks like quite a job to r n r it. is there anyone out there that can shed some light? Possibly switch to an electric cooling fan motor???

Welcome to TN! I'm sorry but the notion of calving doesn't strike a bell with me. I presume it's slang for "going bad" but if not, please translate it.

There are several parts of the cooling system that would affect the fan operation. The hose could certainly be the problem but why did you focus on it? I'm not "fluent" on V-6s. Would it be feasible to take the hose in to a hydraulic hose fabricator (we have them all over in the states it seems) and see if they have (or could get) the necessary fittings and make you one?

Here is a copy of the system of a 3VZ. Yours will likely be similar.

Luck,
Kep

As Kep states call around to outlets that fabricate hydraulic hoses (a very common event).

There were some TN posts on successfully installing electric fans, try a search.
