2nd Generation Is it OK to put Toyota T-IV transmission fluid in a 1990 Camry Wagon (3S-FE)?
Hello, I'm new here. I'd like to know if it is OK to put Toyota T-IV transmission fluid in a 1990 Camry Wagon with 77k miles on it (3S-FE engine and the original auto transmission fluid is Dextron II)? Will the T-IV fluid be beneficial or detrimental to the automatic transmission? The car is running very well and has great mpg.Thank you very much for your input!

Dextron III should be used; the friction material of the B0 brake may not tolerate it.

Use Dexron III or whatever GM has replaced it with.

Don't use T-IV or you may have issues with how the trans performs. Do not recommend at all.
