Kudos for Dr J...

I recently had to replace my high pressure side power steering hose. The advice I found in an old thread from Dr J made the job much simpler than what all the manuals recommended. If anyone has to tackle this job, be sure to have a dremel type cutting tool to help get the fitting off. It cut hours of frustration out of the job. Those of you that have done this job know what I mean. THANK YOU for the sage advice Dr J.

I did this hose replacement twice, once on my '90 wagon and again a few weeks ago on my '89. Both times the hose simply (I use the term "simply" very loosely here ) unscrewed from both ends. Where does the dremel come into play? Was the banjo fitting seized onto the end of the hose with the anti-rotate bracket or something? Although I didn't encounter this, I sure could see it being an issue.
