2nd Generation 1990 V6 Engine ticking..Valves Adjustable?

1990 V6 Engine ticking

Sounds like it is coming from the top end. Its a high pitch tick NOT a knock.

Mostly when cold and then seems to go away but not totally.

Car sat before I bought it. was drivin short spells every two or three days.

Gonna do an oil change and seafoam and just drive it for longer spells.

Do these V6 have adjustable valves or maybe I need to change out the shims if they have em.

V6 .. I heard horror stories about trying to get to the back side by firewall.

UPDATE...

Just drove it for 50 miles today and it is MUCH BETTER

I am guessing that theengine noise will eventualy stop after I change the (Dirty) Oil and add seafoam. I think it is a tick ing noise from the tappets or possible needs to be loosened up from sitting so long.
I will EDIT as I find.

Thank You.

Keep in mind the injectors make a sound close to valve lash. My V6 is close to 400,000km and the valves have never needed adjusting or re-shimming.
