The Evoultion of my Camry (lots of pics)

so I've had this car for 2 1/2 years now, long before the Supra, and I neglected the crap out of it this summer for obvious reasons, but seeing as I'm going to get stuck using it once I put the Supra away I figured I would finish it for the hek of it. So my buddy and I got together and made the effort, I had all kinds of new pieces and stuff I had collected to finish up the car and never did. Here is the evolution of my 88 camry (the other car)
When I got it, really not much to behold.....................going to school means I needed a car, this is what I ended up finding last minute. I had already started scraping the shit off of it, still pretty representative of its condition though...

The Damage

Last summer I started working on it and ran out time, was like this for almost a year

Then what we did this week, with 2 people that are on task its amazing how much you can get done, and trust me there was work to do....

then the paint/body work started going down, color of choice: satin black.

I bought a second car like this for parts, a 91 and I raped it of its hood, front and rear bumpers + all the mechanical parts, then bought a new front valance, 2 rear quarter panel patches which I welded in, a new front nose piece, a headlight (which was busted) and also purchased a new front re-bar for the bumper. I took the old bumper off the car, walked up the driveway and placed it on the curb, it was funny watching them throw it in the truck the next morning lol. All that brings us to this point:

Re-assembly starting slowly

And then we finished! This is what it looks like now.

A girl at work bought her car because of me lol so I figured this was apropriate.

Representing George from Raptor Racing!!!! The Supra parts guy, my savior put it that way lol. I mean this IS my parts hauler aint it?? :p

who says you can't polish a turd? look how this one came out.

VERY nice! Kudos to you and your mate! Question, why is the hood discoloring? Is it due to heat from the engine bay and not having that cardboard and foam stuff underneath the hood?

ok I'm looking for something a bit special. Where the sway bar bolts onto the front of the car (not the tables) mine rusted through and the sway bar was hanging loose (extremly dangerous seeing as that sway bar controls the whole front end ot the car) does anyone have a lower frame piece off a parts car that they could sell me? (drivers side) I welded mine back together with some little pieces of plate but since then my car has been pulling a little bit, even after an alignment, so I'd like to get a sound piece for it.

any help?? thanks everyone

the plate where the bushing bracket mounts to ? http://tril.pendulus.net/pics/camry/...84.jpg?offset= as seen in this picture to the left and right... is it that ?? if it is those are only held on with 6 bolts.. as i've had to replace mine due to me stripping the bolts when installing the new sway bar... got it at the junk yard for like 20$ i think may be less it was awhile ago..

yeah thats it. the problem is when I go to the junk yard the bolt that is tacked inside the table breaks off and the bolt spins into nothing, I tried 3 different yard cars and all the same. I need a southern piece thats not all rusted to hell.
