Australia Seats in my gen 2

has anyone worked out how to stop the fray on the drivers seat? ie what material is best to "replace" reupholster with? i have the standard seats in mine and finding seats out of a higher model with the nicer seats is impossible in tas. anyone found seats from other cars that suit?

footnote: please don't recomment seat covers, they shit me to tears.

Lol...Seat covers popped into my mind. I know what you're talking about. My drivers seat is wearing the foam down at the right hip side. I got covers for mine. Why don't you want covers?

2nd Generation Wrecking Yard

Unless you are out in the boonies I would say hit a wrecking yard.

Almost eveyone I find here in Oregon City has numerous seats that bolt right on.

other option is "YES" seat Covers.

Would you mind elaborating on specificly which seats fit? Like 93 camry seats or 1st gen mr2 seats...

2nd Generation A dealer would answer this on the phone

Sorry I should have elaborated more.

All the seats I swapped were from 87-91 and THEY ALL BOLTED RIGHT IN (4 bolts and one electric plug).

I would call the dealer and they will probably tell you that a simple bolt patttern like that will result in many GEN's fitting.
I guess you could just measure the front to front and front to back then match that up in a wrecking yard. Keep in mind the how high the seat sits so you won't drag your mohawk on the ceiling .
