35fe exhaust question

Hi guys,

Just to clarify, my camry is a 94 model, gen3, with a 3sfe motor. I am looking to change the branch(header) and the exhaust. It is obvious that i will not be able to get most of the brands(if any)in South Africa, so i am rather going to ask what specification should be looking for. What sizes have seen the best results and where in the rev range is it more apparent?

I am looking to find out:
the best size of the primaries
the option of header( 4-2-1, 4-1)
the size of the exhaust( 57mm, 63mm, 67mm)
the number of boxes

Currently the car doesn't have any tone, so i am trying to keep it as low as possible without losing too much power.

Thanks in advance

seriously? a 3sfe in a gen 3? that standard over there or a swap over? sorry, not really much help here but i just had to ask. i'd prolly go a 4-2-1 header though custom for the car. bout as much as i can offer. charlie or atobe usually know this kind of thing. actually most of them do.

Everytime i post the specs of camry i get the same questions, i think i am going to include it in my sig...

Yup Toyota South Africa ( bunch of Wankers) wanted a more economical entry level camry, so they decided to use the gen 2 motor. It did work, as the 2.0l camry won the total economy run for a good few years in a row, something like 1200km on a tank.

You won't really find that information here. I've been around the community for many years and haven't seen any tests or numbers for headers/exhaust actually done for the 3s-fe. You can use specs for a 5s-fe without much trouble, or the earlier gens of the 3s-ge would work too. Also, if you can find a used manifold from any of those motors it would work for you too.
