a/c resetting info?

Hi everyone, I have a 87 Camry LE wagon, about 2 months ago I was driving on the highway (I live in Phoenix, which means it is hot) and was using my a/c and noticed that my a/c started blowing warm to hot air, when I looked at my control board I noticed the a/c light was "flashing" I shut off the a/c and when I got home I read the owners manual and learned that when the a/c light flashes there is a problem and the a/c system shuts down to prevent further issues.

I replaced the a/c condersor as it was clearly determined that was the problem, and my a/c blow ice cold for about 2 weeks. then the same things started happening. This time it was determined that the a/c cooling fan relay had gone bad, so I went to Toyota and bought a new one, but the light still flashes, now I read somewhere (maybe the owners manual.) that once a repair is done the a/c unit had to be "re-set" however the couple of mechanic's I ve spoken with say "no" that system re-sets itself.

Can anyone offer any advise on what the probelm maybe (based on a similiar experience they may have had) and can anyone clearify the issue of resetting the a/c and if so how it is done.

Thanks

A very hot and sweaty Ajax

Don't know if the ECU controls the AC light or not. But have you tried disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes or so? Or, there may still be a problem.
