I think you have answer your own question. If you need battery power another car to start yours, what other answer can you come up with? Have the charging system check too, and check for draw. Either the battery is bad or the charging system is not working to recharge the battery or there is a draw in your electrical system drain the battery.

I believe it would be the battery. I had left my camry for a week when I went to the states and I came back and it wouldnt start. My door lights, not even my deck would come on. I had got a boost from my truck and it started, gave it a driving parked it up thinking id be able to drive next morning to skool, no start. Tried to boost it again same problem. Changed the battery, did wonders=)

Why guess? A lot of auto parts stores, and some mechanics, will check your charging system and battery for free.

^+1 with NEO and occassionally both might be failing.

That is why you need to have the charging system check, just because the radio and lights are working doesn't always mean the battery is in good shape. The starter requires higher current than both the radio and lights; the starter draws at minimun over 100A, the radio and lights 15A at most.

Check your battery and alternator first... if they are fine do this:

Starter relay

Also, make sure your lights, interior lights, radio, interior fan, brake lights and stuff are off and try it that way. Before I did the starter relay on my Alltrac, that was sometimes the only way I could get it to start.

2nd Generation Battery Connections?

How many times has the weather suddenly changed and all of a sudden the car wont start?

How many times has people replaced the alternator...replaced the starter and it still does it....Only to find out after replacing the battery that
THE CONNECTIONS WERE DIRTY.

HAve your sytem checked FOR FREE by a pro. Its a lot cheaper and you dont look so stupid!

OKAY Time for everyone to go out and clean your posts.
Cheers!
