2nd Generation Door Pod Speakers

I have a '91 Camry base model w/ dark blue interior.
I'd like to have new speakers for the front of my car but I would just rather disconnect the existing front ones, leave 'em there, and then just put a pod on each of the front door panels and run the wires to them. However, I don't have any power controls in my door (crank windows, manual locks and mirror) so there's no rubber tube to run wires into the door... any suggestions about how to go about it and where can I find pods to match?

Check again for the door rubber tube. If you have a US car, you have auto seatbelts, which means you have wires in the door no matter what.

I thought the wires for the seatbelts ran right up the A-post.

trust me there's a rubber grommet there's a wire for the door... haven't you ever wonder how the car knows when your door's closed ?? yes pushing the door switch turns off the dome light and door light on the dash.. but you'd have to actually close the door for the belts to go back/forth.

I've had 3 Camrys - a base model (no power anything), a DX and and LE model. They have all had some amount of wiring in the door.

The sensors for the interior light are on the door jamb, but the wires that control part of the seatbelt system attach to the latch in the door.
