90 Camry AT shift points

Got a 90 4cyl 3SFE and recently had some tranny work done. When I originally got it back it would shift into OD between 30-35mph. Since it would seem to bog I took it back to the shop and they adjusted it so it now shifts more at 40mph. It seems that this is still a little too high and I want to adjust it a little lower. How do you adjust it?

First verify that you have non-ect transmission [no power/norm pushbuttton] next to the handbrake handle;
Then with engine off, check the position of the kick-down cable.
the transmission should go into O/D at about 45 mph at 50% throttle acceleration

Nope ... it is an ECT-type which is why I am confused to how it was adjusted at the shop as I've read the FSRM and saw that it's conputer controlled .... maybe he changed the TC. I did have to have the tranny rebuilt so maybe he put the wrong TC in with a different stall and swapped it when I brought it back.

So theres no other adjustment?

Make sure that transmission is not overfilled: even 1/3 of qt overfilling causes early upshifts.
the tc must be 11 inches dia and it fits 83-to 94 4-cylinder Camry; moving the shift cable will not change shift timing on ECT.
