Has anyone relocated their front plate? Its popular to take a plate and move it to the lower right corner under the bumper of a yota, so just curious if anyone has done this yet?
Well I have made a bracket design, and its raining out now, so i cant see if it will fit perfectly, but when it stops raining, ill test it out, and see how it works. If everything fits, then im going to have a buddy of mine who owns a sheetmetal shop create me the bracket and gonna install it. Then ill just have to plug up the holes from the original plate spot.
Can't answer your question about the plate relocation (only have 1 plate in KY), but I gotta say, I really love your sketch!
You've got quite a tallent for technical illustration.
I have seen them on other Gen Cams, but that bracket wont work on my car. If you look at the above pic, you can see that theres 2 bolts, both of which will hold my bracket, and then theres a lip behind that, that the bracket would have to make its way around.
Something like that is a good idea. I will probably relocate my plate to the side after I get the JDM front bumper on my Alltrac... it'll need all the airflow possible after the motor swap...

Well the shop has the bracket design, so when i get it, ill have to drill the holes and put it on and take some pics.
Thats a little low to the ground. Going into a driveway might scrape your plate.
