timing belt help!

alright ill give you a little background on the car
bought it for a dollar from my sisters boyfriend because the clutch was dying
two months after i got it it was completly gone mechanic was going to charge me 1000 dollars to replace it, couldnt afford it, so i thought id try it myself. long story short no one thought i could do it, but i did with a lot of help from this forum. BUT now i have a problem that i need to address relatively soon

I think the last time the timing belt was replaced was around 100k mis and now it has 235k mis and i need to replace it. I have the parts and attempted in the past but got stuck. anyway there are two nuts on the bottom of the left motor mount that i tried to get off with an extender and deep socket 14mm to no avail, actually i ended up stripping the nut. SO my question here is how to i remove a rounded off nut that is nearly impossible to access?

make sure you place a wood block on a jack under the oil pan to support the engine before you remove those nuts, otherwise the weight of the engine will put pressure on the nuts and will make them difficult to remove.

I would cut off the nut and get a new mount or one from a salvage.

V6 or 4 cylinder?

Try using a 6 point wrench or socket that will grip the bolt head better.

update:
After getting a peek at the belt it seemed fine so i reassembled everything and went on my way (which included a drive on the beach) anyway a month or so ago Rupert(yes I named my car:]) started to overheat
and thanks to some basic diagnosis I'm fairly certain I narrowed the problem to the water pump, so I began the long journey of changing the belt and pullies. This started with some snags
first was the 19mm cross member bolt which i cracked a 20 mm on and then rounded off the bolt before moving to a 19. I also cracked two of those sockets before going to sears and demanding an impact grade socket. After that it came off without a problem
then came the rounded off nut I originally talked about, took the advice and bought a nut remover and it came off pretty easy
the timing cover came off fairly easy too. heck even tdc was a breeze.

and then came the matter of removing the crank pulley bolt.
I soon realized that the clicking i was hearing was in fact me messing up the timing
I decided to go for broke and just get the pulley off and worry about that headache later.
after a broken strap wrench, some bent rebar, a bent screwdriver, and a failed attempt at the starter bump trick I am fresh out of ideas.

help plz?!

Don't forget the 17mm socket also...

I vote air tools and a decent impact gun to get the crank pully bolt off. Sometimes they are really on there though...
