Hello guys, I'm potentially looking into retiring my 88 camry LE with 305xxxKM 4Cyl, Auto; on it. Just wanted to get a feel for if anyone would want parts or should I junk the whole thing at once. I'm located up in Canada, willing to ship at your expense. Its got the works:
Seats that have no tear / stains
Digital Dash =)!
Basket Weave alumn rims + 1 season old Michelin radials
Standard Canada Spec glass headlights, no fog
The rest of its pretty standard, the car has never been in an accident.
Hey, I've forgotten: are you in Ontario, or was it you who was from Calgary?
In any case, what kind of shape is the body in? Rotted completely, or decent? Could you post some pics of the car? Is it still running?
I guess what I'm asking is, what's the story behind the decision to scrap? Is the car salvageable? I'm trying to get my hands on another I4 Camry, if the conditions are right...with the economy tanking just as I've finished school, it looks like I'll be delivering pizzas or some other crap job for some time.

Honda my A$$, you just can't kill a Yota...
Im in calgary. Just dont like other family members running around in a 88.. parents are paranoid. If it was up to me I'd keep it for another 10 years. Its running, no problems at all, the passenger rear strut is a little soft, but not leaking or anything. the body is ok, wheel wells had the rust but its basically all bondo now and painted, and then little patches of rust here and there. I still have the original spare tire! its never come out before.. hahaha but the truck is blah. theres 2 8 inch holes on either side on the bottom. you can't see it because its on the bottom and under the carpet. the big ones have been covered by bondo.. the smaller with polyutherane until the winter ends.

I asked how much you wanted for the digital dash...
Aych, if you're going to junk the car, i wouldn't mind taking the digital dash (since JMSports doesn't want it anymore). However, would you mind taking all necessary parts off for me? I've got some relo's visiting Cowtown right now, so if they're not too busy, they might be able to pick it up for me.

Im still interested in it but i still didnt hear a price. If i downturn a price, then you can have it Jimnist.
