Okay So I took the Pump Out... - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

The pump was covered in orangish-brown goo all over it... also it looked like rusty residue all on it.

I cleaned it up the best I could. I was wondering if anybody can tell me if this is OEM or after market... the only number I could find is on the very top that says "1D4"

It probably OEM because of the emblem; the residue is the rust; now you can hook it up to electrical power [9volts] and see if it runs

the inside of the tank might look the same way, someone left it sitting and the gas turned to a acidic gel or the bad gas was put into the cars tank

well, I ran two leads straight off the 12V battery to it and it didn't do anything

What is special about the logo Dr.?
