My sister lives right next to Anaheim Hills. I can only imagine what her car looks like.

I know that look Doctor J. I live in Fullerton so I am getting fallout from Yorba Linda and Brea. What I cant figure out is how they got inside the car with my windows and vents closed and the car just sitting in the drive way. Its on my dash and instrument cluster. I must have some leak somewhere. Keep that mask on!

I'm praying for you all out in Cali... They still haven't ruled out arson and that pisses me off to think that some dumbass teens who don't have any consideration for property and lives would just start a random fire....

Yup, that's a familiar sight. Once every decade or so, the summer forest fires here in Northwestern Ontario get close enough to my city that we get the hazy sky, smoky smell, and ashes on everything. Even when the fires aren't caused by arson, they're often caused by carelessness. Stupid campers and hunters who don't have two brain cells to rub together tend to leave camp fires unattended.

I hope all of you in Cali get through this unscathed, it's a terrifying sight to see every night on the news.

Yesterday the wind shifted direction, so the smoke is going different way; however the people close to fire are still getting all of this..

Things have definitely calmed down... I was down right next to where the fires were over the weekend and things were mostly normal, aside from the smell of an old campfire.

Lukily, everyone I know in the area was safe.

It has calmed down a lot out here. The skies are clear blue where I am. I lived in Portland when Mt. St. Helens erupted. That was a real mess. You could not wash your car without the ash turning to cement. Lots of windshields got scratched up by people running their washer/wipers thinking that would clean the windshield. I had my '69 Corona back then.
