Just replaced front pads, and now have a squeal when I hit pedal from around 30mph upward. Not enough to stop driving it, I just get strange looks at stoplights. (specially from those who drive black and white cars.

)
Here's where I am.
Cannot hear any noise when rotating tire on either side manually. (spinning it with the lug wrench)
Possibility that I need to put light pressure on the pedal to just touch the pads to the rotors while I do this, hard to do alone,may need to hire a neighbor kid for that,problem is it's rare to find one that'ud understand 'light pressure' lol
This car had no anti squeal plates,didn't think that would be an issue because the old pads didn't make any noise. ?
Possibility that the replacement wear indicators are oversize. (thinking about throwing them away) ?
Replaced old spring clips that hold the pads in case one of them was weak.
Checked backing plate for bent spots. none.
Checked rotor for warpage with a micrometer. nothing really out of true.
What am I missing? or forgetting?
