Rear Defroster wire no longer attatched.

One of the wires/metal tabs that connect to the rear window for the defroster has come aloose on the drivers side. So the defroster doesnt work properly. The old adhesive is still on the metal tab. One place I went to quoted me $50 to reattach it.

What is the proper method to fix this? Do I need to purchase an electro conductive adhesive of some sort? If so what kind and from where? How do I remove the old glue without damaging anything?

BTW I just got my gen 2 a month ago and will post a thread with pics soon.

any auto parts store would have a "rear window defrost repair kit". One is for the small lines

another kit is for reattaching the wire part.
