3sfe to 3sgte swap

hey im pretty new to toyota's. Ive been researching them a lot but i haven't found much in the way of swaps. i have an 89 base camry with a 3sfe in with 194k on it. I was wondering if it would be too complicated to put a 3sgte or 3sge in it?

This engine swap has been done before in other Toyota's, have you done a TN history search.

A Google search will turn up many hits on this engine swap.

hmm very interesting article a lot of new insight. I just have an unanswered question. Can u bolt the tranny from the same gen camry v6 on to the 3sgte and then onto the car with no major modifications?

yup need the v6 axles too

They are cheap at the junkyard... just make sure to get good ones.
