Turbo 3sfe

I've been planning a small turbo build on my stock 3sfe. I understand they wont take any more then 7psi.
I have 2 turbos, the smaller one is a ct9, off a starlet. For a stock 3sfe would the ct9 work alright. im not doing a power build or anything, its more an excercise in how as this is my first time putting a turbo on a vehicle.
Im just curious if a turbo for a 1.3ltr will work on a 2ltr?

Don't know, but turbo'ing a Camry has been done and covered before. Search for it. I think they said it was easiest to get the 3S-GTE engine(already has turbo) from a Celica and drop it in with a few mods for it to fit nicely.

There shouldn't be a reason why the ct9 wouldn't work on a 2.0. It would spool up and hit max boost quickly seeing as it's from a 1.3 and definitely smaller than a stock turbo would be on a 2.0.

Not quite...

88LE built the turbo kit that I had on my car originally... and it had a T3 turbo on it from an older Saab.

A Toyota CT26 on a 3s-gte manifold is the best place to start with a turbo kit for a Camry 4 cylinder... check the Celica forums for more info (Celicatech, etc.).
