Wiring door panel light

I found some door panel lights on an LE model and want to wire them up on mines. Where should I hook them up too? Dome light wouldn't work, I don't think--but maybe to the door switch somehow? The LE model has so much tech and interior appointments! It's something like this:

Also, how hard would it be to get the electronic climate control hooked up to my cable-type ones? Ever since the dash swap, the play and resistance in the temperature slider is uneven , so it's either hot, mild, or cold haha. Just a curious thought.

Hehe.... all you guys with the DX/base Camrys are missing out on lots of fun stuff.

Map lights, lighted vanity mirrors, slow-dimming dome light, push-button A/C and the sweet velour interior.

It would be a pretty complicated to do just about anything you are talking about except the door lights. You will want to wire them up just like the dome light 'door' connection. Constant power on one side, ground switched by the door pins on the other.

How would I wire that last sentence? The only other constant I know is the head unit and some say the clock? It looks like the dome wire is on the right A pillar plastic trim, but that probably doesn't matter right? I would wire the negative of the door panel light to the door switch somehow?

I like the DX Interior better. Dont care for the MAP lights, would love the slow dimming dome light, and the auto off headlights cause i always kill my battery that way.

Wth are door panel lights? Got a pic?

I like pretty much all of the interior parts better on the LE other than fabric doesn't wear quite as well. You might be surprised how the nicer carpet, fabric headliner and other stuff makes the car feel much more modern than its age would suggest.

Here's the best picture of the door light that I have online:

If you have power locks, you have constant power in the door for the door lock circuit. You will have to look at the diagrams to figure it all out. That's my challenge to you.
