Engine dies when press gas
Hello all,
I have a 96 Camry. Last night I cranked it up to back out of the driveway and it died when I hit the gas. Eventually it cranked back up but kept dying when I pressed the gas, but the car idles fine. It was low on coolant so I filled up the radiator with antifreeze, as it was smoking when it was running. Then I noticed the fan wasn't coming on. I checked the fuses which were okay then found that the fan will run only if the A/C is on. Still has the same problem of dying/stalling out when gas pedal is pressed. Help would be greatly appreciated. Any ideas? Temp sensor? Fuel filter? Thanks, all.
