Suggest you check the wiring in the trunk where it jumps from the chassis ot the trunk lid. The harness can break.

When in reverse the power could be going to the reverse lights but due to wire damage by rerouted back through the wires to the dash.

The blower circuit breaker may be behind the passengers side kick panel.

not only is it the blower and rev. lights, but its the gauges, auto seat belts, and a few other things that all lost power at once...

one fuse was blown... the gauge fuse... that little 7.5 amp fuse killed everything.. popped in a new one and everything worked again... i do have a rev. light wiring issue... but im not sure where it is... i couldnt find any damaged wiring in the trunk lid/joint area... all seemed to be in good shape... i did find a few bare wires hanging out of the plastic piece that runs along the floor of the trunk.. but im not sure what they go to

Even if you are not sure where they go or what they are for, cover them up with some electrical tape, just as a precaution. This will only take a few minutes. It may keep that fuse from blowing again.
