With the factory motor, go with 2 1/4" piping and a good straight-through muffler. Add a resonator if you don't want it too loud. Go with Magnaflow if you can afford it, they make great mufflers.

"srry im not that great with cars yet trying 2 learn" Also how can i get a aftermarket exhaust do i have to fit the tubing myself or does someone make it to fit the original shape? also does the 3sge manifold have the cat hooked up to it in the engine bay like the 3sfe? thanxs guys

You should be able to just extend the factory wires if that is necessary for the O2 sensor.

Straight through muffler - google is your friend:

Any exhaust shop can do larger piping for you. Mandrel bent piping shouldn't be necessary (once again, google is your friend...)

The 3s-ge manifold will get rid of the main cat (or only cat, depending on model). Cars with the 3s-ge have the cat below/behind the motor. Check your local laws whether you can put in another cat farther down the exhaust or what...

As a hint, people will be more willing to help you if you answer the easy questions on your own first.

thanxs for the help but google doesnt always have the answers to everything. Obviously an exhaust shop can fabricate watever but im trying to do this on my own. My fathers a mechanic so he doesnt want a shitty job done he wants to do it by ourselves. only thing is he doesnt work on foreign cars so doesnt noe much bout them. my car only as the one cat up front. wat i was asking was does a celica 3sge exhaust fit into the body of the car or do i have to weld pipes together. i want a bolt on connetion. thanxs for the help

The Celica 3s-ge manifold is not bolt-on to the rest of the exhaust, just the head. It goes farther under the motor than the 3s-fe manifold. I don't think the secondary pipe behind it is compatible with the Camry, but it may be. Since it has a cat in it though, you won't find them at a junk yard.
