1990 camry v6 - no heat, light coolant smell

I have a 1990 camry v6. The heat is ice cold and there is a light coolant smell when idling with vent on fresh air. there is also occassionally a light puff of steam under the hood when idling that come from the passenger side. I recently had the radiator and thermostat replaced and a coolant flush.

The heater worked just fine until the vehicle sat for 5 days while I was in the hospital, it hasnt been warm since but the engine temp is normal. It has been 1 month since the rad and thermostat were replaced and the coolant was about a quart low. there is also no coolant in the passenger floor.

any help will be appreciated

get under the hood and find your leak, you wont have any hot air if there is no water getting to the heater

as fredk said, have a looksee in the engine bay and find the leak. i had to replace all my heater hoses recently as i couldn't find my leak and it's all good now. you may have a blockage too. i replaced all my hoses with blue ones as the stock were black. two reasons for this. 1 they look better, 2 and the most important, it's now easy for me to identify which ones have been replaced.
