Wagons with light problems

I have 2 Camry wagons, a 91 and a 94. Both have issues with the "light is burnt out" indicated on the dash. Problem is, both are fine when it comes to outside bulbage. There are no burnt out bulbs to be found. Inside, it seems fine too.

The 91s light is on most of the time, the 94 is on and off for no good reason. Is there an explanation for this? My 88 sedan never had the problem.

Also, on a semi side note: The 94's door light works on all of the doors opening, except the drivers. The 91 works unless it gets rained on. I know that the door button sensor things probably need to be fixed, but what is compatible? They seem the same. Should I just buy new ones?

Press your brakes and see if the brake lights light up. If not, the culprit is either the brake switch or the little yellow box in the left rear panel of the trunk. The warning light lit up whenever I stepped on the brakes and I didn't realize I was driving without brake lights for a while -_-". For the door switches, try giving them a good cleaning.

Is the brake switch the box? I have noticed that it would come on when I hit the brake, but the lights worked. I will check it though.

I guess he means the brake switch under the top of the brake pedal lever.

All are functioning properly, so I have no clue what the deal is.

How did you test the yellow box in the rear panel?
