Need help on location of thermal switch.

Hi all, I need to know the location of the thermal fan switch for the radiator fan on a 1989 Camry Wagon 4 Cyl FI. The radiator fan hasn't been running throughout the day and the car started to overheat a little. I disconnected the Fan connector and powered up the fan and it worked. Currently I made a switch that connected the fan to the car battery so the car wouldn't overheat as it was driven. It would be great if someone could provide a wiring diagram or an engine bay diagram of the location.

Thanks in advance.
