Alright, I'm completely stumped
I just finished replacing the oil pump house seal on a 1990 camry 3sfe and everything was running smoothly. While reconnecting the alternator, the nut on the top was not bolted on tightly enough and ultimately the battery died after a short test drive.
The real problem lies in the fact that the car was jumped improperly (positive to negative). Upon jumping it correctly and refastening the nut the car was up and running again. Heres the problem, now the power windows, heater, radio, speedometer, tachometer, e brake light, and the headlight warning light are no longer working. The headlights, wipers, horn, dashboard light, turn signals and such are working though. The fusible links by the positive terminal on the batter had the 80A fuse jury rigged with a piece of metal which is obviously bad news.
At this point we cannot find any fuses, relays or breakers that a blown. Did this destroy all the parts or am I missing some in line fuse or something that could be causing this. This is the first time in ages the car is oil leak free and is finally running smoothly and I'm desperate to get it a 100 percent functional. Thanks:
