Well, after cleaning the IAC and throttle body, flushing the cooling system and replacing both the radiator and thermostat, replacing spark plugs, coolant temp sensor, and ignition coil, my 90 DX isn't stalling out anymore. It's also still having problems. After maybe a half hour of driving, the coolant gets very hot, and I mean it's boiling in the radiator and hoses. However, majority of the time, the temp gauge on my dash reads normal. Also, when this happens, it feels like I'm driving through freakin' mud. Any ideas, anyone?

notice u left out radiator cap in that list. did you change it too?
Whoops. Yep, I did that with the radiator. I've been slowly losing water, too, but I'm assuming it's just steaming out of the overflow when it get to the boiling point. There's no leaks, as far as I can find.
my blue one pushes the waterout into the jug and the ground after i climb the mountain coming home, it never gets hot but i since use a antifreeze jug to catch all the water and loose very little and it sucks all the water back in if i let it idle with the fans run or overnite sit, i know its the headgasket leaking combustion into the cooling system on a hard pull up to home
Are your electric fans kicking on? Water pump working correctly? Is your new T-Stat opening and closing correctly? IIRC, some of them have to be installed with the jiggle pin in a certain position. The last one I bought for my car doesn't have a jiggle pin though.
Your car must be like mine, you can't win! At this point I think I've repaired or replaced most of the parts on my car, not much left to quit working. Good luck!
Holy crap. I figured it all out, and it was soooo simple, I'm sickened by it. The boiling coolant went away as I flushed it again. But the bogging down continued, increasing to the point where it was so bad, my engine wouldn't even rev up and I couldn't go faster than about 8 MPH. I was pissed and started taking suspicious parts off, first of which was my newly installed intake. Well, there's apparently this rubber spacer (About 3" diameter and 2 1/2" wide) that I neglected to take off when I put a coupler on, and it got sucked into my throttle body sideways, holding the butterfly valve almost completely closed and blocking most of the air from getting in. Took it out, and viola! Works great. Car effectively fixed. Wow. I must be some kinda idiot, lol.

glad you're all sorted now. must be a relief though
Yeah, at least nothing's broken and needs to be replaced. I found out last night though that, if taken for a decently long drive (about an hour or so), it still gets real hot. Still need to figure that one out, seeing as my water pump is fine and coolant is flowing well.
