Help With Barrels

Got my car with 3 keys from the previous owner. key number one can start the car and open the driver's side door, but can't open the passenger door. i'd have to use one of the other two to open that door. plus, when any of the keys are in the ignition, u can just pull them out, even with the engine running. how can this be resolved ?

You will need to get matching lock cylinders ($$$!) and and all new keys cut from the dealer to get everything to match.

I don't know if it will still work [due to the legal issue] but in 1999 I pulled all locks from one car in junkyard, made sure that it was the same key code on each lock, bought the two locks to the dealer and have key made for $5.
On older cars such as 83 corolla it is fairly easy to code the ign.lock for the key as long as you have some extra lock cylinders for parts
