Man where do these guys come from?? English classes would be nice.

Anyway, to answer your questions... for lowering, first you have to specify whether you want performance or looks... each of them will take you a different route with your suspension.

An aftermarket exhaust system will get you some power increase for sure, if it is designed well. Most of us have gone the custom route instead of buying "generic" systems from Borla or something like that. Straight pipe with mandrel bends will do the trick.

A good muffler is a must so your car doesn't sound like sh**. It is a 1990 so your displacement isn't big to begin with.

As far as rims/tires and your max speed, I'm sure someone else who has more experience with that can answer you. On my 1993, I have taken it to about 216 km/h and then back down... I don't know where it actually tops out.

Sorry about that... thats just the way I'm used to writing in chat programs and stuff to get the message typed quicker...

Well... for suspension, performance would be nice but if it only gives a marginal performance increase i'll probably opt for the looks.

Damn... you got your camry up to 216km/h?! What Model Camry is that and Is that with mods or without mods?

Well, thanks anyway... so any one else know about what size tyres i should get and what my max speed should be?

Well, my route is clear... pure performance... so I got H&R Sport springs which only lower 1.25" but I find them great! For struts Koni would be the best but also the most expensive by far. I got a great deal on Tokico so I went for that. I have the Whiteline rear swaybar. The only thing I do not have is a front strut tower brace (yet). I was hoping to fit the TRD one in there but it doesn't look like that is possible so I have to find a generic brand for that.

I have a 1993 4cyl Camry. I think I did that speed bone stock when my car had lower mileage and then also at higher mileage with very minor mods... not really a factor.

Its a bottom of the line Camry CSi I think... with 208000kms done. Yeah, its manual and 5-speed but the gear ratio is really crap for the 5th gear... like i can be doin 50kph and be in 5th. Is that normal for 90' Camrys???

Well I havent got it past 130, but it hadnt really topped out yet. It was just taking ages to gain speed so i stopped trying cause i didnt want to get pulled over.

For the suspension... does it cost more the lower you make the suspension?

ThanX for the "Welcome"...

Oh yeah btw i just got a (8) Ball gear Nob... Just a little improvement to the looks...
