Hello,
I replaced the head gasket on my 87 Camry, and knowing it had a bunch of vacuum hoses I labeled them, except for about 2.. sounds easy, but I can't find where the air hoses from the power steering pump connect to? I know they connect to the air tube which mounts on the back of the air intake and runs to the rear (distributor side) of the engine, but from there, it connects to. I have looked for disconnected hoses, but I don't see anything! The vacuum diagrams don't show the power steering air tubes.. or that I can see so.. does anyone know off hand where these lines connect to?

1 of the 3 ports on the bottom of the throttle body connects to the air tub to the PS pump. The other two are for coolant to the throttle body. Don't mix 'em up.

Thanks! I will take a look a the throttle body again to see if maybe there is a disconnected hose. I have most of them labeled.. so I know they are connected back correctly.. hehe

So I found the hose that connects to the air tube. I had connected it to the fitting that is right above the air tube. This appears to go to/or under the fuel pressure regulator? It's on the fuel rail where the fuel line comes in from the fuel filter.. So my next question is, what hose connects to this fitting? It seems I am missing something.

The fuel pressure regulator is on the timing belt side of the motor and should have a small dedicated vacuum line to the intake manifold - nothing else should be attached to that line. What you are talking about seems to be on the transmission side of the motor...

Can you take pictures so that maybe we could help?

It is on the transmission side of the motor, however I figured it out. After hours of searching around hose by hose, I had the vacuum hose that was suppose to go the air tube going to the fuel return line, and the fuel return line was actually tucked way behind some other hoses.

The FPR on the transmission side of the engine is by the cold start injector hose that comes down to the fuel rail. I don't know if it's a regulator or what.. but it looks similar and that's what I was talking about before. Thanks for the help!

Regulator you're talking about is fuel pulsation damper.
BTW, speaking about vacuum hoses, does anybody know where I can buy hose kit. Looks like there is a leak in one, but it is hard to find. Thank you.
