2nd Generation my rear defroster and clock or cig lighter do not work or turn on!?!?!?!

anyone know where the problem is!?!??! i check the fuses and did not find any blown fuse...

its getting me mad cuz i hooked up my REM wire for my amp to my cig lighter and it does not work!!!!

this happened when my car got stolen a few weeks ago and the bastards just tore out the system and my head unit, luckely the took the head unit that was not working ahha but they took my 12 cvr kicker and 1200watt xplod amp but i got a new one!! ..

anyways the clock does not turn on and the rear defroster doesnt work either!! NEED HELP PLEASE!!!!!

It does sound like you have a blown fuse, or maybe a cut wire when the stereo was stolen. If you have a volt meter, or a friend who has one you can check the fuses w/o taking them out. With the car turned on, or even running set the meter to volts dc and put the leads across each fuse. If you get a reading equal to battery voltage, either the load it's connected to is turned off or the fuse is bad. A good fuse will give a reading of less than a volt.

seems that it was a faulty line and has been corrected... it melted into the frame... so i just bypassed it with a new wire =]
