i cant believe it!!!

i cant believe that not one single person here knows nothing about removing a ac compressor! this site seems to be the most popular site in the web, yet it also seems like not alot of people are willing to help out. if i knew how to do this, i wouldnt be asking. i love the fact that we all seem to form a brotherhood, because of the same kind of vehicle that we all seem to love or maybe not.

With that kind of attitude, how do you get anywhere in life?!? Check that attitude at the door and people will be happy to help you.

The A/C compressor is right on the front of the motor. Get the A/C system drained professionally, take off the accessory belt, take off the two A/C lines, take off the three mounting bolts and replace. You may need to remove the radiator for easier access (not necessary on the 4-cylinders, but may be with the V6).

This same info is available in the Haynes manual, the Chiltons manual and the Factory Service Manual - all of which are available in print. The factory manual is also available online in a few places.
