All trac dash light

Is the "Full-time AWD" thing on the dash supposed to light up?
Because if it is, my bulb's blown,
and I'm not 100% sure how to get to it to replace it.
I'm guessing I have to take out the glove compartment,
but I just want some help before I tear stuff up and end up looking stupid

It is supposed to light up. The "auto" or "lock" indicator should dim like other indicator lights (A/C light, gear indicators, etc.) and the main text should light up with the headlights and dim with the dimmer.

I haven't figured out how to get to it yet. I've had my glove compartment out, and it still wasn't obvious how to get to it. Luckily, both those lights still work for me.
