2nd Generation RE: door chime removal

last night i tore into the project of removing the door chime, got it done except for the insides of my controller looks different than the one in the write up??? i took pictures but dont want to scratch anything without being sure...

this shows where the speaker is soldered to

this shows where the only copper is touching the solder and where i think it is safe to scratch......

Please give your input especially if you conquered this quest.... thanks in advance

You should be safe as long as you cut the negative ground wire. It shouldnt be connected to any other copper leads, and make sure you do this right because if you cut the wrong thing, the power seat belts wont move in and out of position.

I know some other people had trouble with my write up only because their boxes are different, but the concept is the same. Wish you had better photos.
